Again!
I'm determined to make this blog work for me. It's a goal. You gotta have goals right?!
Our move back to Norfolk, though not without it's (tiny) problems, went well. We settled into the world's smallest housing community, on base at NOB, and are getting to know our neighbors, some of which have already proven to be amazing!

Though we dreaded coming back here, I gotta say, it's soooooo much better than what we anticipated. I had forgotten how much there was to do. We're having a blast!

Along with all the fun, I did get a job. I worked at Pier 1 Imports back in 2004-05 the last time we lived here and I was delighted when I got the job at my old store. I'm having fun! And buying nice stuff too!
Chris has settled into his new job, though a transfer to a new shop may be looming. His shore duty hours are amazing and a breath of fresh air after almost 6 years of ship life. I don't miss it.
The kids love it here. They can play outside and there are a ton of kids. School doesn't start here until September, though I'm ready for them to go back. I think they are to. They're excited to meet even more new friends.
All in all things are going well. We're enjoying all the time we have together. A nice change.
